41135 Livi’s Pop Star House – Review – Brickreviews

We don’t really have much from the Pop Star line, but we were super excited to finally get a LEGO Friends house set filled with so many wonderful details, and for less money than the other Friends homes, like Emma’s House or Olivia’s House from a few years back. Plus this set stands apart as something super creative and interesting. It has wonderful colors, charm, and tons of little details and accessories! We might be thinking about getting more Pop Star sets after being so impressed with this one.

Livi’s Pop Star House is made up of 597 pieces, but a lot of that piece count goes just to the little accessories themselves, (like the adorably cute little sushi pieces). The instructions are split into 3 manuals, and they’re on big paper so it’s real easy to follow. It took my daughter about three hours to completely build the set, and she only needed help with attaching the security camera to a ball joint at one point. I’m sure the set could be assembled more quickly than that, but she likes to take her time and play with things as she builds. And there is a lot to play with in this set.

The sets that I love the most from Lego Friends so far are the houses – they’re like little dollhouses to play in!

The newest release for January 2016 Lego Friends is Livi’s Pop Star House 41135, and it’s a super modern build with heaps of glass and gold – just right for a popstar! The set comes with minidolls Livi, Andrea, Cookie the dog and a fabulous glass swimming pool. There are also lots of cooking features because it certainly seems that Livi loves to cook – there are cupcakes and sushi and icecreams and mocktails and so many more delicious things. There’s an uber modern dressing room cupboard with places to put all the important things like Livi’s rollerskates, shoes and skirts. And you must check out the fireplace, it’s a bit fancy too.

The design features are becoming more and more clever with each new Lego Friends release – a lot of the floors and furniture are easily put in and out of place to allow access to all the areas... Read more here

…Great Set With Really Terrific Accessories…

We bought it when it first came out at full price and it is still a good value. The accessory pieces that come with this are adorable. It comes with sushi – which are the same size as the chocolate chip cookies that come with other sets. The dog has musical notes as her spots and the girls can change their skirts. We love Livi’s pink hair and all of the kitchen accessories – it even comes with a hand mixer. I have two sons and we play with this set everyday. We actually usually play with regular Lego MiniFigures with the Lego Friends sets since we like the regular minifigs more. We have a Bruce Wayne minifig that lives in this house as the mayor of our “Lego City.” This set comes with some very cool pieces and has a Beverly Hills quality to the house – gold toilet seat. I would recommend this set as a cute house that comes with really neat pieces to add to your collection. Happy Building – for boys or girls (or mommies). 🙂
